Rice Noodles (Quick Breakfast)

Rice Noodles Recipe




Ingredients :
  • Vermicelli Rice Noodles- 250 gms 
  • Green Chilies - 2, cut lengthwise
  • Red Chilies - 2
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Curry Leaves - Few
  • Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Urad Dal - 1/4 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 2 to 3 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of Asafoetida
How to make Rice Noodles :
  • Take a medium size bowl pour 750 ml of water, put it on the stove
  • When water starts boiling (forming bubbles) add turmeric powder and pinch of salt in it
  • Turn off the stove, then add vermicelli rice noodles (Break into two halves) into the boiled water and close with a lid for 7 minutes
  • After 7 min, remove the lid and you can notice that noodles are fully cooked
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium flame
  • Add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chilly, asafoetida, green chilly and curry leaves one after the another.
  • Now add cooked noodles, stir it well
  • Add salt as you required and sprinkle lemon juice in it.
  • Serve hot without any side dishes
  • It tastes too good
