Rice Noodles Recipe
Ingredients :
- Vermicelli Rice Noodles- 250 gms
- Green Chilies - 2, cut lengthwise
- Red Chilies - 2
- Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
- Curry Leaves - Few
- Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Urad Dal - 1/4 tsp
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Lemon juice - 2 to 3 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Pinch of Asafoetida
How to make Rice Noodles :
- Take a medium size bowl pour 750 ml of water, put it on the stove
- When water starts boiling (forming bubbles) add turmeric powder and pinch of salt in it
- Turn off the stove, then add vermicelli rice noodles (Break into two halves) into the boiled water and close with a lid for 7 minutes
- After 7 min, remove the lid and you can notice that noodles are fully cooked
- Heat oil in a pan over medium flame
- Add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chilly, asafoetida, green chilly and curry leaves one after the another.
- Now add cooked noodles, stir it well
- Add salt as you required and sprinkle lemon juice in it.
- Serve hot without any side dishes
- It tastes too good
